Taste and Aroma: Subtle and dry with a hint of mint.
Uses: Clam chowder, soup, stews, meat, lamb and eggs.
Substitutes:Thyme Ground, Za'atar, Ajwain Seeds, Herbs De Provence or Cloves Ground
Fun Fact: Knights from the middle ages carried Thyme as it was purported to provide courage.

-May contain antioxidant, antibacterial and antiseptic properties because it contains an essential oil that is rich in thymol
-May help reduce symptoms of throat infections, mouth inflammation and bronchitis because it contains expectorant and antispasmodic properties
