Substitutes: Cardamom Green Pods, Cardamom Seeds, Cardamom Ground or Mahlab Seeds Whole
Fun Fact: While some would proclaim Green Cardamom superior, Black Cardamom comes through in certain applications that Green Cardamom just wont do.

-Cardamom has antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties
-May aid in digestion by stimulating digestion and reducing gas and acid
-May be beneficial to the urinary track by cleansing the kidneys
-The ancient Romans and Greeks believed that it was an aphrodisiac and added it to their love potions
