Ingredients: Freshly Pressed Coconut Milk, Maltodextrin and Sodium Caseinate (to keep the oil in the follicle)
Taste and Aroma: Tastes like fresh coconut; sweet!
Uses: Puddings, desserts, curries and beverages like smoothies, hot cocoa or pina coladas. Very popular ingredient in Southeast Asian cuisine. Make a coconut glaze by adding some to confectioners' sugar and milk.
Substitutes: Coconut Flakes, Organic Coconut Flour and Shredded Coconut
Fun Fact: The origin of coconuts is unknown; it is believed that they originated Southeast Asia in prehistoric times, around what is now New Guinea.
