Taste and Aroma: Powerful, slightly bitter, flowery and pleasant.
Uses: Baking, beverages and ice cream. Add a dash of this flavor to lemonade, ice tea or just water. Lavender pairs well with chocolate and is a great flavoring for brownies, cookies, cake and frosting. Lavender Extract can be also be used to enhance the fragrance of sachets, floral bouquets and potpourri. While developed for culinary purposes, some customers use this natural extract as a natural relaxant scent and well as an anti-inflammatory.

Fun Fact: During Londonâs great plague in the 17th century, people would tie bunches of lavender to their wrists to fight infection and bacteria. This may have actually been a useful strategy, as fleas spread the plague and lavender is known to repel the bugs.
