Uses: Silver Cloud's Pure Red Pepper Extract can be used to add heat to a wide range of food products including sauces and marinades, baked goods, beverages, confectionery products and frozen desserts (especially a spicy chocolate ice cream). Approximately 50,000 Scoville heat units, using this extract at 0.50% to 1.00% will impart 250 to 500 Scoville heat units to any aqueous food product. The average hot sauce is approximately 500 - 1000 Scoville heat units. This extract is for culinary purposes and should not be used in topical applications. Use caution and avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep away from children.
