Taste and Aroma: Powerful licorice flavor with honey and citrus notes. A small dash of Fennel Pollen can add intense flavor and complexity to any dish.
Uses: Fennel Pollen is traditionally paired with pork, but it can also be used as a dry rub on meats or sprinkled on fish or vegetables for exceptional flavor. As a staple in Northern Italian cooking, Fennel Pollen is often added to rice, pasta and risotto dishes in place of Saffron.
