Below are three photos to give you an idea of how much product you will receive in each size package. We filled up each size bag with marbles and placed them next to a quarter to provide a clear representation. There are two different photos, one for standard spices/seasonings and one for herbs. Since many herbs are so leafy the same weight will fill up a much larger bag. This is why some of the herb prices seem a lot higher than the spice prices, but you are actually receiving more product.

The third image is of our 1 cup Bottle with Sifter next to a popular national brand found in most grocery stores. You can see that our bottle holds close to 2.5 times more product than the national brand bottle. Plus, ours often costs less! Please be aware some other online retailers only offer 1/2 cup(4 fluid ounces) bottles. We choose to offer double the size 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) bottles to give you the biggest bang for your buck!

We hope you can see from these images that regardless of which size you order, you are getting a lot of product and a very good value compared to the supermarket.

Ingredients: 100% pure Organic Vermont Maple Sugar
Taste and Aroma: Strong maple syrup flavor and sweet!
Uses: You can use Maple Sugar as an everyday sweetener, in place of granulated sugar when you bake, on toast or even in your coffee. We like to think that everything tastes better with some maple sugar in it.
Substitutes: Turbinado Sugar, Demerara Sugar, Dark Brown Sugar, Light Brown Sugar, Raw Sugar, Cinnamon Sugar, Vanilla Sugar Pure, Honey Granulated and Honey Powder
Fun Fact: Maple sugar is what's left when you boil almost all of the water out of maple syrup. It normally comes in either powdered form or in larger granules, but our maple sugar is a combination of the two for a more consistent maple flavor throughout your baked goods.

A great item for preppers...

Though I love real maple syrup in the normal liquid form, storing it for a long period of time in tight spaces is a problem. The good stuff always comes in glass containers, which are bulky and vulnerable. I live in th middle of the Rocky Mountains, so I always make sure to have a good supply of "back up" foods and supplies, because we never know when there will be a blizzard or a rock slide blocking our supply routes. i decided to try the maple sugar granules because they are light weight, concentrated food energy, 100% organic, easily stored, and quite delicious. The various syrups I've tried seem to have more or less real maple flavor, but the dried form has an intense maple flavor, and it's great just to sprinkle it dry on oatmeal or to use in recipes. If you need the syrup form, you simply add water and a little heat. I feel this product is an extremely important "barter" item, since it is a delicious luxury when times are hard. This is one of those items that I will continue to purchase to build up my stocks...both for my own use as well as an item that will be VERY desirable in a time of real hardship.
