Below are three photos to give you an idea of how much product you will receive in each size package. We filled up each size bag with marbles and placed them next to a quarter to provide a clear representation. There are two different photos, one for standard spices/seasonings and one for herbs. Since many herbs are so leafy the same weight will fill up a much larger bag. This is why some of the herb prices seem a lot higher than the spice prices, but you are actually receiving more product.

The third image is of our 1 cup Bottle with Sifter next to a popular national brand found in most grocery stores. You can see that our bottle holds close to 2.5 times more product than the national brand bottle. Plus, ours often costs less! Please be aware some other online retailers only offer 1/2 cup(4 fluid ounces) bottles. We choose to offer double the size 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) bottles to give you the biggest bang for your buck!

We hope you can see from these images that regardless of which size you order, you are getting a lot of product and a very good value compared to the supermarket.

Green Peppercorns

Refreshing, herbal, peppery

The green peppercorns are a great addition to my cooking choices - most foods have their own flavors which are enhanced by the nuances of the various pepper corns available.

Green peppercorns

I first tasted green peppercorns when I was served a pork tenderloin with "Hunter's Sauce" in Switzerland. It was heavenly!! I still think about it (and schnitzle) regularly, even though it's been more than thirty years since that trip. Ever since then I have mostly replaced green peppercorns in a lot of my cooking. Try them, freshly ground on pork, beef, lamb, and soups like pho` or stirfried veggies. I think you too will replace your stinky black and white peppercorns with greenies, and by all means, learn to make a traditional Hunter's Sauce for your pork recipes! You'll love it too! I promise.

Great product

Excellent I made French pepper steak and they were super good. Put some in a brine to soften them up. Water some salt and splash of citric acid.

Title of what???

I was more than pleased with my purchase, including speedy delivery and price versus Pensey's spices!
I'll be back for more, and have already recommended your company to my neighbors who love to cook as I do!

size and strength of green pc's are consistent.

I've been a loyal spice-sage customer for lots of years. my son the chef introduced me to using green peppercorns (instead of black peppercorns) 10 years back To me, the green peppercorns taste less harsh than black p-corns, have fuller volume, and generally just taste better than the black ones. Sometimes i mix mostly green (2/3 cup with 1/4 cup black. these percentages work best for my needs. learned the hard way that herbs and spices vary in taste, size, quality and how long before the taste weakens. i received a gift of supposedly gourmet green and black pcorns. When using the peppercorns while cooking, i needed to use almost double the amount of the supposedly gourmet peppercorns. i would rather pay more to purchase consistently So I learned to spend more money to purchase superior products. THAT is why i'm so loyal to spiceSage. I've given herbs and spices in pretty mills or containers, and usually get positive feedback. and my friends have become more interesting cooks. btw, I store back-ups in my freezer, and my spices last longer. Be sure to use a straw to remove every bit of air
