Below are three photos to give you an idea of how much product you will receive in each size package. We filled up each size bag with marbles and placed them next to a quarter to provide a clear representation. There are two different photos, one for standard spices/seasonings and one for herbs. Since many herbs are so leafy the same weight will fill up a much larger bag. This is why some of the herb prices seem a lot higher than the spice prices, but you are actually receiving more product.

The third image is of our 1 cup Bottle with Sifter next to a popular national brand found in most grocery stores. You can see that our bottle holds close to 2.5 times more product than the national brand bottle. Plus, ours often costs less! Please be aware some other online retailers only offer 1/2 cup(4 fluid ounces) bottles. We choose to offer double the size 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) bottles to give you the biggest bang for your buck!

We hope you can see from these images that regardless of which size you order, you are getting a lot of product and a very good value compared to the supermarket.

Ingredients: Whole Pink Peppercorns
Taste and Aroma: Mild, fruity and sweet.
Uses: Great twist to anything you would normally put black pepper on.
Substitutes: Green Peppercorns, Grains of Paradise, Black Peppercorns, Black Pepper Butcher Grind, White Peppercorns or Four Peppercorn Blend.
Fun Fact: Pink Peppercorns are actually not part of the pepper family, coming from a different tree.

I bought the Brazilian peppercorns to add to the "Four Peppercorn Mix" because there are not enough in it. When I was young, I lived in Homestead and then Tampa, FL. We had all the Brazilian peppercorns we wanted. The plants were actually considered to be weeds and were cut and burned in a annual process. The trees were fun to climb but the sap was very sticky and my Mom would wear us out for getting it all over ourselves (the same with mango trees). Anyway, the birds (robins in particular) would gang up on a fruiting tree and strip it of berries so if we wanted any we would have to beat the birds to them. Sweet and resinously savory.

I have not tried them on their own because I mixed equal amounts with a couple of other kinds of peppers. This blending is more than wonderful!! All 3 flavors surface to a mix made in heaven. I will try them on their own though because my mood calls for different things at different times.
